After completing studies in data structures, algorithms, some C and basic bash, the author showed little to no interest in his academics and fully immersed himself in cloud computing.
- He desired to get into the real world,
- He wanted to get started with whatever internship he can get,
During his sophomore year, Yahya interned remotely at an Indian company while actively seeking more serious and challenging opportunities.
Eventually,
Yaya secured another intern at Linedata on the 7th floor of their Tunis branch.
Another month in the latter, he received a better offer, realizing the significance of cause and effect and stuff done in the dark started to show up.
The job is now from home at a canadian consulting startup,
And the founders are Cybersecurity managers at KPMG.
He was provided with a state-of-the-art laptop—he thought and began remote work before transitioning to a decent physical office in Tunis Lake side.
Under well respected mentorship, Yahya honed skills;
- In attention to detail,
- Critical thinking,
- And maintaining confidentiality.
These challenges fueled his personal and professional growth, shaping him into a more introspective and benevolent individual.
During that, he also learned to keep track of his activities and leave evidence everywhere so that when that inevitable time comes,
He maybe able to manage it.
